Built for people who write checks for more than one business

Property owners with an LLC per building, small businesses with several bank accounts, bookkeepers printing for their clients.

Every LLC, one login

All your businesses and banks in one place, each with its own numbering. No per-account fees and no separate company file for each.

Positive Pay files

The issue file for each account in its bank's layout, voids included. The best defense against check fraud, without paying your bank to type it in.

Who sees what

Give your bookkeeper or property manager their own login, limited to the bank accounts they work on.

Blank stock, full MICR line

One stack of paper for every account instead of a box of preprinted checks for each.

Signatures and signers

Keep each signer's signature on file and choose who may sign on which account.

A register you can trust

Every number accounted for: printed, voided or reprinted. Search it, export it, hand it to your accountant.

What you need to print

Two things, and you probably have the first already. No special ink or toner.

How it works

WriteChex prints. Your bank moves the money, as it always has.

  1. Add your accountsEach business, its bank account and its signers. We check that the account is yours before it can print.
  2. Test print oncePrint a MICR test page and line it up. Then deposit a test check so your bank confirms it reads.
  3. Write and printOne check or a week of bills. Print, sign if you want ink, mail. Upload the Positive Pay file to your bank.

One monthly price, by number of businesses

Never per bank account and never per check. Design partners get an early price and hands-on setup.

How your account details are protected

Ownership confirmed before printing. A voided check or a letter from the bank, for every account.
No money movement, ever. No wallet, no transfer, no hold. Only checks and files.

Questions

Will my bank accept the checks?

Checks printed this way are standard business checks. Every bank and printer is a little different, so each account starts with a test deposit at your bank. We don't promise that any particular bank accepts them.

Does WriteChex move or hold my money?

No. WriteChex only prints checks and writes files. Your checks are paid from your own bank account by your own bank. There is no wallet, no transfer and no hold.

How do you stop someone printing checks on an account that isn't theirs?

An account can't print until we've confirmed it belongs to you, for example with a voided check or a letter from the bank.

Can I keep using my accounting software?

Yes. WriteChex only prints the checks; your books stay where they are. Bring a batch of bills in from a spreadsheet or CSV file, and export the register as a CSV for your bookkeeper.
